I decided to go down a more abstract path, moving away from what one would typically expect from a National Park's poster. I aimed for an origami inspired look whilst incorporating the recognizable Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve.
"See America is reviving the legacy of the New Deal arts projects by building a new collection of posters celebrating our shared natural landmarks and treasured sites. Proceeds support National Parks Conservation Association, the independent, nonpartisan voice working to strengthen and protect our nation’s natural, historical, and cultural heritage."

I was inspired by Alice Paul's amazing story. I decided to use her as a main focus of the poster, along with the monument. I feel this reflects her strength and presence as a feminist.
In the background young women are shown waving flags in a New York City parade at the beginning of 20th century, embracing and supporting Paul and the house. I included the message "Votes for Women" on the right hand-side, the main message of the suffrage movement. I used the colour palette of the stained-glass window at the entrance of the house.
