Artery Community Roasters reached out to me to work on their brand identity, which reflects their mission of inclusion and social responsibilityβspecifically, to employ people with disabilities while offering high-quality, ethically sourced coffee. The challenge was to create a brand that puts people first, is authentic, and makes specialty coffee accessible to everyone.

I developed the full brand identity, hand-drawing a bold, imperfect logo that highlights its artisanal character. The vibrant colours convey energy and optimism, while the tone of voice, full of humour and punsβmakes specialty coffee accessible. The labels were designed for easy application to reflect the brandβs commitment to inclusivity.
The Artery has a zero-waste initiative, turning used coffee grounds into handcrafted coffee soap bars called Grind. This sustainable product aligns with the brandβs commitment to eco-consciousness.
