  • Artery Community Roasters reached out to me to work on their brand identity, which reflects their mission of inclusion and social responsibilityβ€”specifically, to employ people with disabilities while offering high-quality, ethically sourced coffee. The challenge was to create a brand that puts people first, is authentic, and makes specialty coffee accessible to everyone.

  • I developed the full brand identity, hand-drawing a bold, imperfect logo that highlights its artisanal character. The vibrant colours convey energy and optimism, while the tone of voice, full of humour and punsβ€”makes specialty coffee accessible. The labels were designed for easy application to reflect the brand’s commitment to inclusivity.

The Artery has a zero-waste initiative, turning used coffee grounds into handcrafted coffee soap bars called Grind. This sustainable product aligns with the brand’s commitment to eco-consciousness.
